Terms & Conditions
Camping and Touring
Your booking is for the unit, size, dates and the number of people as stated on your booking confirmation. We cannot guarantee a particular pitch or area of the park. We request that you only use breathable ground sheets and for stays over 7 days we will ask you to move your tent to preserve the grass.
Arrival and Departure
From 1st March to 24th May and from 1st September to 30th November you are welcome to arrive anytime from 1.00pm to 6.00pm. From 25th May until 31st August, you are welcome to arrive from 1.00pm to 8.00pm.
All arrivals must register with reception before going on to the park. Pitches must be vacated by 10.30am on day of departure. Unfortunately, we do not have parking available on site before 1.00pm and we are unable to pitch new arrivals after dusk.
Please leave your pitch tidy and in particular free of any fossils or stones collected during the holiday. Late departures can be arranged by prior arrangement.
Electrical Hook up
We recommend a minimum length 20m hook up cable for all our pitches. Please note that the maximum supply to each pitch is 16amps. This is appropriate for such items as phone chargers, electric lights, travel fridges, camping kettles and camping heaters, etc. but items such as domestic kettles, cookers awning heaters may trip the supply and we therefore ask you not to use them. We do not allow the use of splitters on our site. We cannot be held responsible for any loss of food due to the tripping of power.
Groups
In order to keep the park as peaceful as possible for everyone’s enjoyment we do not accept groups (which for us is more than 4 adults or more than 2 families who know each other) on the park. We do not pair bookings and so cannot guarantee certain pitches or that you will be near to others on the park.
We also do not accept single sex groups of 4 adults or more unless by prior arrangement. If you book separately and are part of a group, we will ask you to leave the park with no refunds.
Visitors
Due to lack of car parking space, we are unable to accommodate visitors’ vehicles on the park. Please can all visitors register with Reception upon arrival.
We do not have visitor parking available on site except for Blue Badge Holders. One vehicle only can be parked on each pitch (motor home or camper van counts as one vehicle).
Commercial vans or campervan conversions
We do not accept commercial vans. We accept campervan conversions if they meet the requirements on the DVLA website.
Additional Vehicles and Trailers
We have extremely limited space for extra vehicles which must be parked off your pitch, we recommend that you use the long-term parking located nearby.
If you would like to bring an additional vehicle onto the park, please contact us at least 24 hours before arrival and we will reserve you parking (subject to availability). We are unable to accommodate additional vehicles on arrival.
We do NOT accept tow along vehicles or trailers on motorhomes.
BBQs and Fires
No open fires are to be made on the park. Portable barbecues are permitted but must be at least 6′′ off the ground – if a stand is required, please use bricks. We do not allow wood or wood chip products to be burnt in the BBQ or on the park in any other unit or heater either in or outside your tent– please only use charcoal. All BBQ’s to be put out by 10.30pm please.
Awnings
Please note the maximum size of awning we allow is 3 metres in depth. If your awning is larger than this then please inform us prior to your arrival, and we will do our best to allocate you a larger pitch.
Pitching
A member of our team will show you to your pitch, please pitch where requested and do not encroach upon any other pitches, for fire risk limitation, safety and access. If you pitch outside your boundary or your unit is judged to be a risk to the safety or comfort of others, you will be asked to move. Please do not erect any additional tents or gazebos.
Dogs
All dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times on the park. Please ensure that your dog does not cause annoyance to other park users and is never left unattended on the park. Any fouling must be cleared using the bins provided. Sorry, but we do not accept breeds which are listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.

Water games are not allowed anywhere on the park. We are sorry, but we do not allow children under 18 years to camp without their parents being present.

Minimum stay for advanced reservations
During the Bank Holidays and School Holidays we require minimum stays. We do reserve some 2-night pitches at other times, but we advise that these need to be booked early in the season. If you require a one-night stay for a hiking tent, please make a request by phone or email and we will do our best to accommodate you.
General
All tents, cars and personal belongings must be contained within the designated pitch. Small camping trailers (up to 3x4m) are welcome by prior arrangement only. We may have to assign you a larger pitch at an additional cost to allow space for a trailer. We are unable to give refunds if the pitch is vacated early (except in extenuating circumstances and at the park owner’s discretion). We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone on the park without reason or remove any tent or caravan should it be considered necessary. The refund of the appropriate portion of any site rental shall be sufficient discharge of all obligations to any person who is required to vacate the park. The Park owner shall not be liable for any loss or damage or accident to any persons or private property, however caused, whilst staying on the park or using the facilities or amenities.
Reservation
All reservations made in advance are subject to the following terms and conditions: Bookings can be made online and by debit or credit card over the phone. All reservations made in advance require a non-refundable deposit to be paid at the time of booking to reserve the pitch and the balance must be paid in the same way at least four weeks in advance of arrival (if the booking is made within four weeks of arrival full payment must be made immediately). The deposit is non-refundable any time after booking . Any deposit paid forms part of the total bill for the booking. The final bill is the total fee less any deposit paid. A £20 administration charge will be applied to any changes to each booking.
Cancellation Policy
The deposit is non-refundable any time after booking. If payment was made in full at the time of booking a refund minus the deposit will be given for cancellations made more than one calendar month before arrival. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any refund or a change of dates within one calendar month of arrival date. This also applies to late arrivals and early departures. If the park is forced to close due to Covid or flooding the deposit is transferable to another booking to be used within 12 months.
